Activity Log

"I didn't cancel that booking." "The table was moved when I wasn't even working." "Someone changed the guest's phone number and now they're not coming." Without an activity log, every disagreement is a dead end. With one, it's a thirty-second check.

Reservation.Tools records every meaningful action: bookings created, edited, moved between tables, marked as no-show, canceled. Each entry is tied to a named user, timestamped, and shows what changed — old value, new value.

For owners, this is accountability: you can see who runs a tight ship and who keeps "accidentally" canceling bookings. For managers, it's a training tool — spot patterns of mistakes and coach before they turn into lost revenue. For disputes with guests or between staff, it's a neutral source of truth.

Combined with user permissions, the log is meaningful because every action has a name attached to it. No shared logins means no anonymous edits.
