Table & Floor Plan

Areas & Sections

One venue, many rooms. Control each one.

Big restaurants don't operate as one room. The terrace books differently from the main hall. The bar fills with walk-ins. The garden only opens in summer. If the whole floor plan is one flat list of tables, staff waste time deciding where to seat each guest — and online bookings go to the wrong places.

Areas let you group tables into named sections, each with its own color so staff recognize them instantly on the floor plan. Each area can be marked public or private — public areas show up in online booking; private areas are reserved for walk-ins, staff, or VIPs.

Areas plug into everything else: reservations are assigned to an area, the Availability Checker can stop bookings when a specific area is full even if other areas are open, and work-time exceptions can target one area (close the terrace early, keep the hall open).

For beach venues, bars with multiple zones, or restaurants with multiple rooms, this is the difference between chaos and a floor plan that matches how you actually work.

Key benefits

1

Staff recognize zones instantly

Each area has its own name and color on the floor plan — no guessing which table is on the terrace.

2

Public vs. private per area

Let guests book the terrace online but keep the bar for walk-ins. Flip it per area.

3

Close one area without closing the venue

Work-time exceptions can target a single area — shut the garden early without stopping hall bookings.

4

Availability checks per area

Online bookings stop for the terrace when it's full, even if the main hall has tables.

5

Reports that make sense

See which area earns the most covers, which area sits empty, and where you're leaving money on the table.

How it works

  1. 01

    Create areas in the admin

Add an area, give it a name and a color. Mark it public or private.

  2. 02

    Assign tables to areas

Drag tables into the area on the floor plan. Each schema table belongs to one area.

  3. 03

    Areas flow into bookings

Reservations store their area. Online forms respect the public flag.

  4. 04

    Set exceptions per area

Close or restrict hours for one area at a time via work-time exceptions.

  5. 05

    Use areas in reports

Filter trends, covers, and no-shows by area to see where each section stands.

Split your floor the way you actually run it

Create areas for terrace, bar, hall, and garden — and control each one.
