Online bank payments

Collecting deposits for reservations is a key part of managing high-demand time slots and special occasions. With Reservation.Tools, you can now enable Online Bank Payments as an additional method for handling prepayments and reservation confirmation deposits.

 

This feature allows you to attach a secure payment link to every reservation. When you confirm a booking or manually request a deposit, the system generates a link that can be sent directly to the customer. From this link, the customer can view all available payment options—including bank transfercash, or card—and complete the deposit at their convenience.

 


How It Works


When bank payment is selected, the system provides the client with clear bank details and payment instructions. Once the transfer is made and appears in your online banking, your staff can manually mark the reservation as paid by bank within the app. This gives you a simple and trackable way to manage offline payments while staying organized within a digital system.

 

Reservations paid by bank remain pending until the payment is confirmed, allowing you to track which bookings are still waiting for deposit. Paid reservations are highlighted in orange, making it easy for your team to see the status at a glance.

If a customer fails to complete the payment within the required timeframe, you can cancel the reservation. This ensures that only serious bookings are confirmed and helps prevent no-shows during peak hours or special events.

 

 

Flexible Payment Channels: Card, Cash, and Bank

 

Each reservation supports multiple payment options:

 

  • Card: The fastest and most automated method. Once paid by card, the reservation is instantly marked as paid.
     
  • Bank: Customers receive the payment details and complete the transfer via online banking.
     
  • Cash: In-person payments can be collected ahead of time and manually marked by your team.
     

You decide which methods to offer depending on your internal policies. For example, during high-demand periods such as New Year’s Eve, you may require all deposits to be paid at least a week in advance via cash or bank transfer.

 


Full Integration and Automation

 

All payment actions are fully integrated with your reservations dashboard. You can:

 

  • Track pending, paid, or cancelled reservations in real-time.
     
  • Generate custom payment links directly from the app.
     
  • Automatically include the payment link in client notifications.
     
  • Use filters to segment reservations based on payment status.
     
  • Customize settings per venue from the General Settings > Payments section.
