Walk-ins & Internal Reservations

Capture every booking — phone, walk-in, or online — in one place

Phone bookings and walk-ins still make up a big share of covers for most restaurants. Reservation.Tools gives your staff a fast way to capture them without slowing down service.

Create a reservation from the admin panel or operator app in a few taps. Pick a table, set the party size, and save — no customer name required. If the guest is a regular, their profile and preferences auto-fill from the CRM.

Why it matters

Every booking — online, phone, or walk-in — lives in the same place. Your hostess sees the full picture across every channel, no sticky notes, no double-bookings, no missing guests at the door.

How it fits the shift

A guest walks in during a busy Friday dinner rush. Your host taps the table in the floor plan, hits Seat Walk-in, and the table turns occupied instantly. Two minutes later the phone rings — your staff types the caller's name, picks the time, and confirms. Both reservations sit next to each other in the timeline.

Key benefits

1

Seat walk-ins in one tap

Tap the table, hit Seat Walk-in, and the table flips to occupied. No customer profile required.

2

Phone bookings in seconds

Type the caller's name, pick the time and party size, save. The reservation joins the same timeline as online bookings.

3

Auto-fill for returning guests

Start typing a known customer's name or phone and the profile, preferences, and notes populate automatically.

4

One timeline, every channel

Walk-ins, phone, website form, Google Reserve — all sit on the same floor plan with color-coded sources.

5

No double-bookings at the door

The floor plan updates live across every device, so the host and the manager always see the same available tables.

How it works

  1. 01

    Open the floor plan

From the operator app, switch to the live floor plan view for the current shift.

  2. 02

    Tap the free table

Pick any open table and choose Seat Walk-in or Create Reservation.

  3. 03

    Fill what you know

Party size is the only required field for walk-ins. Add a name, phone, or comment if you have them.

  4. 04

    Save and serve

The table flips to occupied, the reservation shows in the timeline, and all other devices see the update instantly.

  5. 05

Convert to a guest profile later

If the walk-in turns into a regular, attach a customer profile after the visit to start building their history.

Stop juggling paper lists at the door

Log walk-ins and phone bookings on the same screen as your online reservations.
